19.141. Nerikomi Tapas Bowl. ‘Square Up!’

Creating the square patterns for this bowl was fun and I wanted to make a statement so decided to create a centre motif that  dwarfed the surrounding patterns. The patterns were made by layering the coloured clay and then extruding them through a square disk. The square tube is then cut and the pieces are assembled to create the pattern.

16.04 Agate bowl. ‘Swirls of the Sea’

I love watching the sea ebb and flow and swirl around my feet. The agate design is created by rolling red terracotta and white earthenware clay together and then cutting sections which are then rolled flat so creating a swirling design. The interior is glazed  and the exterior of the bowl is left unglazed so creating a contrasting rough and smooth finish.

Height 10cm. Width 17cm.

Price: £60.00. SOLD
